Migrating Your Kuna Devices to Kuna-SE
We are excited to announce that we have opened up the ability to migrate your Kuna devices over to the new Kuna-SE app. You will now be able to access all of your devices under one app - and you will be able to use all the new Kuna-SE features on your Kuna devices.
Some important things to note:
- Migration is by invite only right now - it requires a passcode.
- Kuna devices must be ONLINE to migrate.
- You must have the latest version of the Kuna-SE app (version 1.65.0) to begin the migration process.
- Migration is permanent and cannot be reversed.
- Kuna devices will be migrated to a Kuna-SE account under the same email address as your Kuna application.
- Kuna-SE premium plans are slightly different from the Kuna plans. Which plan is right for you depends on the number of devices you have - read more here.
PLEASE NOTE: The screenshots in this article may appear slightly different or contain different language than the actual screens in your app.
Step 1 - Login to Kuna-SE and Initiate Migration
Login to your Kuna-SE app and navigate to the “Profile” page. Make sure you are running the latest version of the Kuna-SE app - the latest version is 1.65.0. At the bottom of the “Profile” page you should see your app version. You can also check this in the App Store under app details.
Once you’ve made sure you have the latest version of the Kuna-SE app, tap “Transfer Kuna Devices”. Here you will be required to enter a passcode. You will receive this passcode by email. If you have not received one, please reach out to support for further assistance.

After entering the beta passcode, please read and accept the terms of the migration to continue.
Please be aware that once you migrate to Kuna-SE, the process is permanent. You will not be able to revert to the previous platform.
Step 2 - Provide Kuna Credentials and Select Devices
Enter your Kuna app credentials to view a list of available Kuna devices. Select the devices that you would like to migrate to Kuna-SE - and tap the “migrate” button at the bottom of the screen.
*NOTE: Devices must be online in order to migrate. Make sure your Kuna devices remain online throughout the migration process. Loss of connection may result in issues.
Step 3 - Wait for Migration to Complete
Once migration is complete, your Kuna devices will be available under the Kuna-SE app. Your Kuna-SE account credentials will be the same as your Kuna app. That is, you will use the same email address and password on both Kuna and Kuna-SE.
Migration should take about 15-minutes. Once completed, your Kuna devices will appear online in the Kuna-SE app. They will no longer be available in your Kuna app.
