I Don't Have Permission to Set Up My Device

My device is already registered to another user

or

I see an error message saying that the app could not get permission to set up my device

 

Each Kuna Powered Device can only be set up once, under one primary account. Please make sure that this device has not already been set up by another family member or friend, or under a different email address.

If you've already set up your camera using a different mobile device, you simply need to log in to the Kuna app using the same email and password, and you will be able to use it right away. No need to set it up a second time.

If you'd like to be added as a shared user, please refer to this article. Shared users can set up their own notifications, and access the live feed and recordings.

If you purchased the device from one of our retail partners, or another third party, and you’re still seeing this error message, please let us know! This device may need to be unlocked before you can set it up. Depending on your situation, it may take up to 72 hours for your device to be unlocked.
