If your Smart Security Light or Toucan camera is picking up a lot of false alarms, or if your device is missing people when they walk by, you should adjust your device's motion detection sensitivity. First, open your Kuna mobile app and head to the Devices tab.
Next, open the device settings by clicking on the gear-shaped icon next to your device's name. This is how you access an individual device's settings.
Once you have opened the individual device's settings, scroll down to the Motion Sensitivity section.
You can adjust the sensitivity slider up or down. 0 is the least sensitive, and 100 is the most sensitive. The default setting is 95, but if your Smart Security Light or Toucan camera faces the street, you may need to set it as low as 50 for a good balance between prompt detection and filtering out false alerts.
IMPORTANT: We DO NOT recommend leaving your Motion Sensitivity set to 100. This is too sensitive for most setups, and it may interfere with your Light Schedule if you're using the Motion On feature.
