Step 1:
Attach the Porch Light bracket to the Wall Junction Box by threading two Junction Box Screws (C) through he arm of the Porch Light bracket into the Junction Box mounting holes. Level the two mounting screws and tighten the two center screws of the bracket
Step 2:
Adjust the screw heights (D) to the appropriate length, using the hook (F). Use the hook to suspend the light from the fixture bracket you just installed, this will free up your hands for the wiring in the next step.
Step 3:
Connect the three pairs of Black (power), White (neutral) and Ground wires. The Ground wire may be absent from your Junction Box. If so, connect the ground wire from the Porch Light to the green screw on the Porchc Light bracket. Make sure you have a secure connection. Push all wire nites inside the junction box for safety.
Step 4:
Now that the wiring is connected, mount your Porch Light to the Porch Light bracket and insert a light bulb (maximum wattage: 60W). You will slide the Porch Light over two crews attached to the mounting bracket and secure the light with the decorative nuts (D). We strongly recommend you use silicone caulking to seal the gap between the wall and the Porch Light. Proper caulking will ensure that water does not enter the wall of the light fixture. IMPORTANT Caulk only the upper half (dotted outline in the diagram) leaving the lower half un-caulked to enable drainage of any water that seeps in.
